2006 del Rios Cabernet Sauvignon

del Rios is one of the only Cabernet Sauvignon producers in the Moorabool Valley. Most deem the region too challenging to grow the variety with its cool climate and requires a significant amount of work with restricting yield. We grow 4 different clones of Cabernet Sauvignon giving each block its unique qualities. The final product is a blend of all these blocks. The wines are barrel aged in our own custom French oak barrels for up to 2 years before released. 50-70% New oak.
